We’re a for-profit entity with the heart & soul of a non-profit.
When we got started, we knew we wouldn’t be happy unless we were positively touching people’s lives AND actively contributing to leaving our big blue playground better than we found it. It’s in our DNA.
That’s why we chose a benefit corporation as our legal structure and adopted a “Triple Bottom Line” sustainable business strategy of People-Planet-Profit. We’re proud that our two biggest stakeholders (education & environment) receive a combined 11% of our revenue whether or not we are profitable.
Education: Your involvement helps teachers smile big! They could use it.
Right now, teachers throughout our country are facing super challenging conditions. *THINK* recent pandemic stresses, overcrowded classrooms, consistently strained budgets, and often crappy politics to name a few. Too many of these prized people are overworked, underpaid, and underappreciated. It’s sad to witness.
To show our appreciation, we’re giving a massive 10% of every single dollar that flows into Curt Crowd to these amazing humans! In pursuit of generating the biggest smiles possible, our focus is finding creative and innovative ways to reach and support teachers directly. This excites and inspires our crowd too!
