Apple users have a high digital consumer value because we account for more than 50% of all smartphone users in the USA. Our loyalty, spending habits, and other desirable attributes make us a dream audience.
However, brands view us as an untouchable group of consumers who live in a “walled-garden” ecosystem heavily guarded by Apple. Yes, we all really love this feature but our team is also convinced we’re missing out on what brands would share with their favorite audience if given the chance.
Interactions between Apple users & brands aren’t great, but they could be.
Most agree these interactions aren’t very memorable, let alone equitable. It makes sense. Brands don’t set the rules at the places where they spend their marketing dollars, they just stay in the lanes provided to them by companies like Apple, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, and X to name a few.
